This is a group for mothers of children with autism or related developmental disorders to get together and share experiences, resources and strategies for their children and support each other through a shared experience which can sometimes be very isolating. We will have our first meeting as soon as we have sufficient interest - 10+ members. I look forward to helping parents connect. The goal of this Meetup group is to allow children (11-16 yrs of age) with Aspergers and/or ADHD to meet, and play in a non judgmental, semi supervised environment. Ideally, groups would be kept at small numbers (for the benefit of the child) where parents would rotate hosting events in their home. This is not a parents support group. This is solely an opportunity for children to intermingle with other children who are also dealing with similar social challenges.

This group is for young adults ages 18-30 who are interested in meeting others in the New York area and making friends/networking.
